I've chosen to use antique brass, copper, pewter and silver pieces, such as fruit bowls, milk canisters, ornate ornamentals etc, and restore them to fresh, sparkly, eclectic, vibrant new pieces!
These pieces are bought to life with glass chandelier drops, glass beads from all over the world, fresh water pearls, semi precious stones, swarovski crystal, African seeds, African pewter, silver and metal animals, bright fiber and resin beads and hanging drops. I also incorporate nuts, bolts and washers, wood, and anything that adds to my exclusive, eclectic elegance, and personal flair of functional chandelier art works.
The beads are strung together with a metal wire thread which is heat resistant and adds to the strength of the chandelier. Metal clamps secure each stand, while bright 50W halogen bulbs illuminate the chandeliers. Attached to each light on the larger chandeliers is a transformer that also offers full dimming options.
